MYSTERY
by David McGillivray and Walter Zerlin Jr.
Directed by Ron Richards                        February 12 Thru February 28, 2010
The Dramatic Society is back with another memorable production – this time a murder mystery.  Their
opening performance is doomed as catastrophe follows mayhem.  Sound effects and scenery and actors
that don’t work right are the trademarks of this group.  Marvel at their blithe handling of every mishap.

YOU CAN’T TAKE IT WITH YOU          by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman
Directed by David Burch                                April 9 thru April 25, 2010
Enjoy this classic comedy of the American Theatre.  A wealthy, conservative family is thrust into a
household of eccentric characters, each pursuing their own version of happiness.  When the
manufacture of fireworks in the basement goes awry and an explosion occurs, the police arrive and haul
everyone off to jail.  This show was winner of a Pulitzer Prize and ran for 837 performances at the Booth
Theatre.

GUYS AND DOLLS          story by Damon Runyon, music and lyrics by Frank Loesser,
book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows
Directed by Elaine Wagner                        June 4 Thru June 20, 2010
An all time favorite musical fable of Broadway with larger-than-life characters in search of a spot to hold
the “oldest established permanent floating crap game in New York”. Mix high rollers like Nicely-Nicely,
Sky Masterson and Nathan Detroit with Adelaide, the Hot Box girls, Sister Sarah and the Save-A-Soul
missioners and you have a sure bet for fun.  You’ll leave the theatre humming great tunes like “Luck Be
A Lady”, “Take Back Your Mink”, “I’ve Never Been In Love Before” and “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the
Boat”.

Apprentice Players Production  - (Not part of season ticket package)
